REPURPOSED OLD CHARM DRESSER
This Old Charm dresser top belonged to my neighbour. She wanted to move it on to make space in her home, but it just wasn't selling in it's current finish.
Old Charm is good quality, well-made furniture, but it's just not fashionable at the moment.
I stepped in to make it more versatile, neutral and, therefore, more saleable.
I removed the glazed doors, carefully cut away the bottom section and painted it using Hessian chalk paint. It was then distressed and sanded back to smooth before adding a coat of wax.
We now have an open wall mounted shelf unit!
